This evening we received news that we will not be allowed to complete Thien's adoption.
Our agency still plans to advocate for us, and I am praying for a miracle.
Today is Thien's 1st birthday, a very special day.

I am so sorry to hear your news. I know how you and your family are feeling now as we are feeling the very same things. I know we will never get over the loss of our son Jack and I know that I should be happy that he is back home with his birthmother, but I am not. He was taken back to most likely work the farm. He is 8 years old. My heart can't handle that news. My 9 year old son will never be the same again. He waited so long for Jack to come home and now that will not happen. We are all still raw and are trying to heal our hearts.
I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone and I hurt for you and your family. You are in our thoughts.
